About us

In 2017, Patrizio Basetti and Marta Babbini opened, "ARTISTIKAMENTE", a new space for modern and contemporary art in the city of Pistoia, not far from Florence. The gallery offers a welcoming and relaxing environment in which to enjoy and discuss art as well as to discover Italian art’s new emerging faces. Here, the traditional gallery concept encounters experimenting with new concepts, thus making possible exchanges between artists, collectors, and art historians.



With about 150 mt2, Artistikamente’s well-lighted and well-equiped gallery host both solo and themed group exhibitions of painting, sculpture and photography. In addition, there are often various cultural events, including presentations of literature, poetry, music, art-related conferences and artist talks.

This new gallery has fit into the dynamism of this city’s art scene by mounting exibitions of outstanding local and emerging artists, positioning itself as a place where the memory of the past examines the present and in which works of art are presented in specific, original settings that successively highlight the artist’s distinctive qualities. The gallery’s staff supplies artists with all relevant promotional and support services, partnering with top professionals in various fields.

The most recent projects under development will introduce small groups of artists to international markets, thanks to the extremely positive feedback received at the initial “Art made in Italy” exibition held in Amsterdam in 2019.
